The idea was never to create just another coffee shop. Anthony, the owner and creative mind behind it all, imagined somewhere brews would be taken seriously, but everything else could be wonderfully open to interpretation. That idea became Obsidian Coffee Shop in Fort Lauderdale.

Inspired by its Latin heritage, our approach draws on authentic Mexican coffee and Salvadoran coffee traditions while making space for contemporary creativity. Every cup has a purpose, every detail gets attention, and every visitor brings something different to the experience.

Come with a sketchbook, a friend, or nothing on your agenda. There's no right way to spend your time here. That's precisely the point.
